Mission
Kreating Young Minds Academy’s™ mission is to provide quality childcare service in association with an accelerated STEAM-based curriculum that is developmentally appropriate & designed to nurture the whole child.
Vision
The vision of Kreating Young Minds Academy™ is to build a strong foundation for Lifelong Learning by providing opportunities for young children to learn and grow by meeting each child’s individual needs.
Philosophy
Early learning is based on developing relationships. We aim to establish trusting relationships among children, teachers, and parents. Intentional early education experiences promote critical thinking, exploration, cooperative play, and mutual respect.
We believe that children should be:
- educated in a loving, safe, nurturing environment.
- exposed to high-quality education that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, gross, and fine motor development.
- challenged academically to reach their greatest potential.
- taught how to express themselves, think creatively, and develop their own ideas which will promote confidence.
- taught principles on how to respect all people regardless of their differences (character development).
- taught how to be problem solvers.
License & Accreditation
Our facility is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and approved by the City of Chicago.
Our facility is inspected annually by the Health Department, Food and Sanitation, Fire Safety Department, Heating and Ventilation, Plumbing, and Electrical.

All staff members’ credentials exceed the required accreditations and qualifications required by DCFS (Illinois Department of Children & Family Services) and have been screened, background checked, and fingerprinted.
We offer mandatory staff training and encourage ongoing professional development to ensure that all staff members stay current using the most current Early Childhood best practices.
Our Educators
Our teachers are dedicated and invested in all our students’ success. Kreating Young Minds Academy™ teachers work daily to foster fun learning experiences to help your child in all areas of development: social/emotional, cognitive, language, and physical, in a safe and loving environment.

Administration
Our directors are responsible for our daily operations and the safety and well-being of all students.
They supervise and lead our staff to ensure that all staff members collaborate and work together to ensure that our educational curriculum and programs are implemented daily.
